Why are My Images the Wrong Way Up?

The majority of modern cameras have an orientation sensor that senses which way an image is up. This information is recorded and even if you edit the image in Photoshop or another software editing program that information can still stay tact.

Because this data is often still in place, it may look correct on your computer but may show up on ArtyBuzz.com the wrong way up.

To fix this problem, you can try a number of things:

- See if your editing application will allow you to save your images without 'EXIF data'

- Re-upload your image with it rotated 90 degrees back the other way so it ultimately ends up the right way

- Upgrade/change your editing program if possible to one that understands this information.
