People can find your work more easily - through searching subjects they are interested in using the search bar and your tags matching to what they searched for e.g. 'lake photography'

Your work will be found more easily in general search engines - We use your tags to inform Google, Yahoo and other search engines what your work is about. The first 5 tags you choose to describe you as an artist and each piece of work you add are used as keywords and heading tags, these will get picked up by search engines, and will consequently form part of their search results. Choose your tags carefully and think about what people might search for if they are trying to find an artist or work like yours, if you get this right, and write similar keywords within your work descriptions you can get found quite easily by people using general search engines, and hopefully sell more of your work and get noticed.
