This painting for me is about everything that I hold dear in my life. Its about love, humility, respect for nature, the different levels of reality that exist (both actual and imaginary) and its about reaping the rewards from being a good minded person throught life (ie- flowers of the mind). The painting is also about Life-force and its beautiful power- i chose to paint a sunflower in full bloom because i wanted it to express that the guitar players life is in full bloom with all of his lifes achievements and experiences before him- and now is a time for him to reflect.
