Bayu (Sanskerta: Vayu, read: Bayu, was acknowledged also as Waata or the Wind or Prana) in the Hindu religion was the main God, was titled as the God of the wind. Air (Vayu) or the wind (Pavana) was one of the elements in Panca Maha Bhuta, five elements of the foundation in the Hindu religious teaching. Batara BayuDewa was in this Hindu religion adapted into the world pewayangan as the god of the ruler of the wind that lived in Khayangan Panglawung. Batara bayu was assigned to arrange and control the wind. In the Treta Yuga time, Batara Bayu became the teacher Hanoman so that this monkey becomes magical. In the Dwapara Yuga time, Batara Bayu dropped Werkudara off (Bima). The characteristics of the pupil or the descendants of this god were to have the "Pancanaka Nail"
